2006:
ARC: Adelaide Racing Concepts Formula SAE
Formula SAE is a world-wide
competition involving teams from final year Mechanical
and Mechatronic Engineering attending universities in
the US, UK and Australia. The teams must build their
own formula style race car. For more details, visit
the website at http://students.sae.org/competitions/formulaseries/.
2006 continues with GPAs involvement as the team will
enter the racecars in a series of design oriented and
performance rewarded events Each team must raise money
to finance the construction and operation of the race
car. A successful few months promoting the team at major
events like the Clipsal 500 augurs well for the remainder
of the year.

2004: Ice Hockey Australia Women's Team

of the Australian Women's Ice Hockey team for the upcoming
world championship in Capetown, South Africa. Success
in the tournament is an essential step in the strategic
plan for Australia's involvement in the Winter Olympics
of 2010.

2007: AURC Formula SAE Teams 5th at Nationals
The
Adelaide Uni Formula SAE team, part sponsored by GPA,
has performed very well at the National Competition.
They finished 5th out of a field of 30. The field included
21 Australian University teams and 9 from Japan, Germany,
Denmark, Malaysia, New Zealand and Puerto Rico.

The team defeated the Woods 26-12 to take the title in the Grand Final, played
late last year.
