Rob is GPA’s Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering Manager and the Industry Leader for Renewable and Microgrid, as well as Power Transmission and Distribution.
Rob has more than 20 years’ experience across a range of industries including renewables, minerals processing, power transmission and distribution, oil and gas production, water, general process industries and building services. Rob’s experience covers HV and LV electrical distribution systems, process control systems, instrumentation, hazardous areas and ex equipment, software configuration and systems integration of PLC, DCS, RTU and SCADA systems.
He has extensive experience in solar, wind, hydrogen, waste to energy, battery energy systems, as well as traditional gas, diesel and hybrid power systems. His expertise includes engineering design, FEED, concept and feasibility studies, cost estimating, construction management, commissioning management, project management as well as portfolio project and programme management.
