Tony has over 35 years’ experience in the oil and gas industry, 2 years’experience in the hydrogen industry and 3 years’ experience in the aluminium industry, working as a Project Manager and a Principal Process, Pipeline and SCADA Engineer. He has performed numerous concept, feasibility and FEED studies and project managed large EPCM projects, acting as Contract Superintendent. He has experience in engineering design and operation of oil, gas, water, hydrogen, ammonia and sulphuric acid pipelines and facilities, including pipeline, compressor and custody transfer meter station design and design modification roles.
Tony is the General Manger of GPA’s Brisbane office and the Industry Leader for Disruptive and Emerging Technologies. As head of Disruptive and Emerging Technologies he is currently leading a number of projects for GPA in biogas generation and hydrogen generation and injection.
Tony is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Australia and the Institution of Chemical Engineers, Australia. He has chaired various committees throughout his career, currently the chair of the Australian Pipeline Engineer Competency Committee.
