Amilcar is a highly experienced Civil/Structural Engineer with experience in structural and civil design within a broad range of industries. Amilcar has also extensive experience in evaluating, assessing, and undertaking structural integrity reviews of existing structures. As GPA’s Civil & Structural Engineering Discipline Manager, Amilcar plays a crucial role in the development of the discipline team around Australia. Amilcar’s extensive experience is an invaluable asset to the GPA team, and his over 10 years at GPA has seen him mentor GPA graduates into experienced team members.

Amilcar’s role includes defining and managing project scopes, outlining project requirements, assigning tasks, and supervising progress. Amilcar manages the overall technical integrity of GPA’s work in the discipline, including safety in design and sustainable design, representing clients as owners engineer, and ensuring the required services meet clients and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
