Francois
Lambrechts
Francois is a chartered professional chemical engineer with experience in the petrochemical, oil refining, gas processing, fine and bulk chemicals, and mining industries. He has led process teams on a range of projects from studies to multi-year projects, covering all phases of engineering from feasibility to detailed design and commissioning, and has managed several studies/projects. He is an experienced HAZOP facilitator, holds TÜV process hazard and safety analysis certification, and is trained in human factors in safety and design.
In his role as Process Engineering Discipline Manager, Francois is leading the team’s transition into renewable and new energy industries. He also provides technical leadership to the Process team and is responsible for their professional development, focusing on the quality of the process team’s output.
Francois takes an active interest in project delivery methodology and governance processes and chairs GPA’s Engineering Steering Committee.
