Mike has 27 years of experience in all life cycle stages of gas and renewable gas transmission, processing and compression assets in Australia. He began his career in Pipeline Operations in NSW and the ACT, covering pipeline integrity, rotating equipment and automation issues. He progressed to Operations Manager during this career phase, being responsible for operational start up of a newly constructed green fields pipeline in South Australia.  

He has then moved into a national project role including project development, FEED and detailed design, commissioning and operational handover. He has executed projects in the Northern Territory, Queensland, and NSW and Victoria including FEED, detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities totalling approx. $1 billon AUD in the past 6 years. 

Mike is a Chartered Mechanical Engineer and also manages multi-disciplinary projects for GPA and its clients. In his role as State Manager of Victoria, Mike enjoys delivering functional and efficient engineering solutions which meet GPA’s client objectives, using the strengths of the GPA engineering team to best effect.
