Project AIR 3029 Phase 2 Space Surveillance Telescope

GPA was engaged by Sitzler for engineering services on the Space Surveillance Telescope (SST) at Exmouth.

GPA completed a study of the telescope’s HV earthing system design, ensuring the facility, its dedicated power station and the 5km of 33kV underground cable performed to required standards, operating safely and effectively.

GPA undertook the project by first completing a desktop review, then developed a commissioning and performance test plan to undergo further investigation on site. After completing on site investigation, GPA issued a report listing recommendations for items requiring remediation.
