GPA farewells Geoff McKinnon in style

Upon retiring on the 30th of June, Geoff McKinnon ends a significant chapter for GPA being the last of the original three founders  in 1987. In true GPA fashion a party was needed and this certainly was a big bash taking place at the wine centre with 170 guests and a band flown in from Perth.

It was a time for both a celebration of Geoff’s  career and a chance for staff and many others touched by Geoff’s guiding nature to join him in enjoying the great food and wine and lots of dancing.

Everyone at GPA wishes Geoff the best of wishes in this next chapter of his life and are determined to retain the culture and values instilled by Geoff, and the other founders, to ensure GPA remains a fabulous place to work with the highest of engineering standards.

Young Pipeliners Forum (YPF) Barossa Valley wine tour

GPA was a sponsor for the South Australian Young Pipeliners Forum (YPF) Barossa Valley wine tour.

The South Australian sector of the Young Pipeliners Forum (YPF) gathered for what has become the annual Barossa Valley wine tour. A group of YPF members from APA, Santos, GPA, FYFE, SmartFab and Saunders International gave great diversity and made for interesting conversation across all aspects of the pipeline industry.

The tour was a great success, allowing young South Australian pipeliners to meet, network in a social setting and provide everyone an insight to projects from different perspectives in the industry. It also allowed everyone to enjoy the very best of South Australia, enjoying food and wine with new found friends.
